Hanwha Vision Vietnam Factory Achieves Cumulative Production of 10 Million Units
Over 500 Models of Cameras, Storage Devices, and Lenses
Production Volume Up 50% Year-on-Year Amid Global Supply Chain Collapse
Hanwha Vision, a subsidiary of Hanwha Group specializing in the manufacturing and sales of surveillance equipment, has achieved a cumulative production of 10 million units at its Vietnam factory in just five years since its operation began.
Hanwha Vision Vietnam Manufacturing Corporation announced on the 6th that it held a ceremony on the 30th of last month at its production plant located in Que Vo Industrial Complex, Bac Ninh Province, Hanoi, to commemorate reaching 10 million units produced.
The 10 millionth product is the 'SolidEDGE,' an SSD (Solid State Drive)-based camera, which Hanwha Vision introduced as the industry's first.
Hanwha Vision Vietnam Manufacturing Corporation, which started production in 2018, recorded cumulative production of 2 million units in 2019 and 5 million units in 2021.
Situated on a 60,000㎡ (18,170 pyeong) site with a building area of 30,000㎡ (9,350 pyeong), the Vietnam manufacturing corporation operates an eco-friendly smart factory that integrates all products, equipment, and manufacturing environments, powered by solar panels installed on the building's roof. Approximately 500 models of products, including cameras, storage devices, and lenses, are produced here.

Hanwha Vision Vietnam Manufacturing Corporation contributes to proving the company's global business competitiveness. In 2021, when the global supply chain collapsed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Hanwha Vision achieved a 50% increase in production compared to the previous year through its global manufacturing and supply chain management system at the Vietnam manufacturing corporation.
