"Efforts to Resolve Difficulties Faced by Companies Entering China"
The Korea International Trade Association (KITA) announced on the 6th that it will participate in the "6th China International Import Expo" held from the 5th to the 10th at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC) in Shanghai, China.
KITA will operate the Korean Pavilion consisting of 94 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and mid-sized companies at the expo. Major local governments such as Busan Metropolitan City, Chungcheongnam-do, Gyeongsangnam-do, Jeollanam-do, and Jeollabuk-do have also organized lifestyle goods, food, and pharmaceutical health product zones covering approximately 1,186㎡.
To enhance promotional effects for participating companies, various side events utilizing Hallyu content such as Wanghong (??) live home shopping will be prepared.

On the 4th, KITA held a meeting with participating companies to discuss the current status and difficulties of their business in China.
Kim Gohyun, Executive Director of KITA, said, "In the current situation where our companies are facing difficulties due to sluggish exports to China, participating in an expo that the Chinese government is focusing on will be an opportunity to find new business prospects. Since China is a market we cannot give up on, KITA will continue to strive to resolve the difficulties faced by companies entering China."

Meanwhile, on the 3rd, KITA held the "5th Korea-Jiangsu Economic and Trade Cooperation Exchange" at the Yancheng International Exhibition and Convention Center in Jiangsu Province, China, together with the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government.
