Volunteer Activities and Beach Environmental Cleanup Conducted
BNK Gyeongnam Bank is continuously conducting volunteer activities in the Gyeongnam and Ulsan regions to fulfill its social responsibilities and coexist with the local community.
BNK Gyeongnam Bank announced on the 5th that it carried out 'Autumn Social Contribution Activities' simultaneously in several areas.

View original imageThe autumn social contribution activities, consisting of persimmon and kiwi harvesting volunteer work, onion seedling planting volunteer work, and environmental cleanup activities, involved a total of about 500 employees including Bank President Ye Kyung-tak.
President Ye and employees from the head office departments visited a persimmon farm in Chilbuk-myeon, Haman to assist with persimmon harvesting.
They conducted volunteer work to support the harvesting farm, from picking persimmons to transporting and sorting varieties.
At the same time, employees from the Changwon Sales Headquarters participated in kiwi harvesting volunteer activities held in Jinjeon-myeon, Changwon City.
In particular, not only employees but also Kim I-geun, chairman of the Changwon City Council, joined the kiwi harvesting volunteer work, adding significance to the event.
Additionally, employees from the Western Sales Headquarters visited Myeongseok-myeon, Jinju City, where they worked hard planting onion seedlings.
At Ganjeolgot Beach in Seosaeng-myeon, Ulju-gun, and Bonghwangdae Park in Gimhae City, employees from the Ulsan Sales Headquarters and Eastern Sales Headquarters, respectively, walked around the area collecting litter.
President Ye said, “To repay the love and support received from local residents and the community, we have been conducting large-scale volunteer activities, starting with environmental cleanup volunteer work in typhoon-affected areas in August, followed by the Chuseok Volunteer Festival and autumn social contribution activities. I hope the hearts and sincerity of the employees who participated in the volunteer work will be conveyed throughout the region. We plan to continuously promote various social contribution activities that fulfill the bank’s social responsibilities and coexist with the local community.”
Meanwhile, prior to the autumn social contribution activities, BNK Gyeongnam Bank held the ‘Chuseok Volunteer Festival’ in September.
