Hyundai Motor Group to Directly Train SW Talent... Recruiting Participants for Employment-Linked Education Program
Hyundai Motor Group is accelerating efforts to nurture and secure top domestic software talent to expedite the transition to an SDV (Software-Defined Vehicle) system.
Hyundai Motor Group announced on the 3rd that it will recruit participants for the third cohort of the recruitment-linked training program, 'Softeer Boot Camp 3,' from the 1st to the 13th of this month. This training program was established to directly cultivate new software talent and secure outstanding trainees early.
'Softeer' is a brand name combining 'software' and 'engineer,' reflecting Hyundai Motor Group developers' identity as 'pioneers' in the vehicle software field. Hyundai Motor, Kia, and Hyundai AutoEver will participate in this boot camp.
Hyundai Motor Group will select approximately 90 participants across four categories: ▲Web Development ▲Mobile Development ▲Service Planning ▲Design. Applications can be submitted through the official website. Eligible applicants are those graduating in August this year or expected to graduate by August next year from domestic or overseas four-year universities (bachelor's degree or higher).
The Softeer Boot Camp selects participants solely based on basic competency assessments for each job role without a separate interview process and will conduct an eight-week training program from December this year to February next year. After one month of theoretical education, participants will enhance their collaboration skills and practical process understanding through team-based projects.
Hyundai Motor Group provides the training free of charge, supplies high-performance laptops during the training period, and plans to reward outstanding graduates. Additionally, programs involving developers currently working at Hyundai Motor Group will be arranged to deepen participants' understanding of development tasks and offer career counseling opportunities.
Hyundai Motor Group also offers opportunities for employment conversion to boot camp participants. All trainees will undergo recruitment interviews in March next year, and those who pass will be able to join Hyundai Motor, Kia, or Hyundai AutoEver.
Jin Eun-sook, Vice President of Hyundai Motor Group's ICT Division, said, "The Softeer Boot Camp will be a great opportunity to experience the development projects currently underway at Hyundai Motor Group, the collaboration methods between job roles, and to communicate with active developers."
