"I am Fairness, Who Comes to Mind?" Cho Kuk Mimics Jeon Cheongjo... Was It a Critique of President Yoon?
Used the Trending "Jeon Cheongjo Style" and Faced Backlash
Added a Phrase at the End of the Original Post After Criticism
Recently, a trend called the "Jeon Cheongjo style" has been spreading online, where people deliberately mix incorrect Korean and English expressions such as "I am sinroyee" and "OK. Geureom Next time-e nolleo galgeyo." Amid this trend, former Minister of Justice Cho Kuk has sparked controversy by posting phrases like "I am Fairness" and "I am RuleOfLaw" on his social networking service (SNS), mimicking the speech style of Jeon Cheongjo, who was Nam Hyunhee's former fianc?.
At around 10 a.m. on November 2, Cho posted on his SNS, "I am Trust. I am Fairness. I am CommonSense. I am RuleOfLaw. I am Justice." There were no further comments.

Immediately after Cho posted this message, many online users criticized him. Some commented, "If Cho Kuk is fairness, then Jeon Cheongjo is innocent," "Are you admitting you're on Jeon Cheongjo's level?" and "Did you post this for self-reflection?"
As criticism intensified, Cho edited his post about four hours and thirty minutes later, at 2:30 p.m. He left the original message unchanged but added the phrase, "Who comes to mind?" at the end.
Former Minister of Justice Cho Kuk, who has been indicted on charges of admission corruption involving his children and allegations of covering up an inspection, is attending the continued second trial session held on the afternoon of the 16th of last month at the Seoul High Court in Seocho-gu, Seoul.

It appears that Cho added this sentence to emphasize that the message was not meant to describe himself. Words such as fairness, common sense, rule of law, and justice have been repeatedly used by President Yoon Suk-yeol in speeches and interviews since his inauguration. This has led to interpretations that Cho was indirectly criticizing President Yoon.
On the same day, Cho also shared a video link to a tribute song composed by folk musician Yoon Minseok for his daughter, Cho Min. The song, titled "I Am a Precious Person," includes lyrics such as "I won't be intimidated by the world," "Even if I get hurt, stumble, or sometimes cry from exhaustion, I will achieve my dreams."
Meanwhile, Cho is currently undergoing an appeal trial after being indicted on charges including admission corruption. On February 1, the first trial found him guilty on 8 out of 13 charges. Regarding the allegations of admission corruption involving his children, he was found guilty on 6 out of 7 counts.
