Gangbuk-gu Takes the Lead in Early Detection, Treatment, and Management of Reclusive and Isolated Youth
Business Agreement Signed on the 25th Between Gangbuk-gu Public Health Center and Anmuseoun Company
Gangbuk-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Lee Soon-hee) announced on the 25th of last month that it signed a business agreement with Gangbuk-gu Public Health Center and Anmuseo Unhoesa to facilitate early detection, treatment, and management of reclusive and isolated youth.
The district stated that it aims to build a youth mental health system for early detection and treatment management of high-risk mental health youth among reclusive and isolated youth in Gangbuk-gu, fostering mutual trust and cooperation.
Through this agreement, both organizations will actively cooperate on ▲ early detection and mental health screening and counseling support for reclusive and isolated youth ▲ mutual cooperation for crisis intervention and follow-up management for youth at risk of suicide ▲ mutual cooperation for operating mental health programs for reclusive and isolated youth ▲ providing information on support projects for treatment costs for early-stage mental illness patients.
On this day, officials stated that based on the revised “Gangbuk-gu Mental Health Welfare Center Installation and Operation” ordinance from April 2019, a professional cooperation system has been established to promote residents’ mental health and to build a system for discovering, registering, and managing mental illness patients.
