Gyeonggi-do Icheon City is promoting the 'Village-based Primary Care Physician Project,' where doctors visit medically underserved areas to provide medical services.
Icheon City recently announced on the 2nd that the 'Village-based Primary Care Physician Project,' a pledge project by Mayor Kim Kyung-hee of Icheon City, secured 480 million KRW in national funds by being selected for the Han River Watershed Fund Excellent Resident Support Project contest.

This project involves a mobile vehicle visiting elderly residents living in medically underserved areas to provide health care services. The vehicle, equipped with medical equipment, will regularly tour villages, and professional medical personnel will provide medical services and health management programs inside the vehicle.
