Ulsan Office of Education Supports Prospective 12th Graders' Career and College Admissions with EBS
The Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education will co-host the "Pre-Grade 12 EBS College Admission Briefing" with EBS on the 4th at the Office of Education auditorium.
The briefing will provide guidance on Korean subject study methods for the College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) and school grades, as well as strategies for early and regular admission preparation for the 2025?2026 academic years, targeting about 500 Grade 10 and 11 students and their parents from 10 a.m. for two hours.
In particular, it will analyze the characteristics of admission processes at universities in Seoul and the Yeongnam region, which Ulsan students are highly interested in, and explain preparation methods for each admission type, including student record-based admissions, comprehensive student record admissions, and CSAT-focused admissions.
The briefing will feature lectures by Teacher Han Byung-hoon from Cheonan Jungang High School and Teacher Yoon Yoon-gu from Hanyang University Sadaebu High School, covering "Korean Subject Study Methods for CSAT/School Grades in 2025 and 2026" and "Understanding and Success Strategies for College Admission in 2025 and 2026," respectively.
The Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education stated that this student-tailored college admission briefing is expected to help Grade 10 and 11 students and their parents alleviate vague anxieties about college admission and assist in designing concrete admission plans.
On the day of the event, the Ulsan Office of Education plans to distribute EBS college admission briefing materials to all participants.
One to two weeks after the briefing, edited recorded videos will also be available for viewing on the EBS website and the Ulsan Career and Academic Support Center website.
A representative from the Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education said, "We will continue to support each student in finding a career path that matches their aptitude, interests, and abilities by operating career and academic counseling, special lectures, and career exploration programs."
The college admission officer requested participants to use public transportation due to expected congestion in the education office parking lot, as more than 500 people are anticipated to attend the event.
