Gwangju Bukbu Fire Station Conducts Fire Truck Passage Training Campaign
On the afternoon of the 1st, Gwangju Bukbu Fire Station conducted a fire truck priority passage training and campaign in connection with the Disaster Response Safety Korea Drill to establish a rapid and safe disaster site dispatch system for fire trucks, and in celebration of November as Fire Prevention Emphasis Month.
This training involved 4 vehicles including fire trucks, and 18 participants including firefighters and volunteer firefighters, targeting the area around Gakhwa Agricultural Products Wholesale Market.
The main activities included ▲guidance for the public on giving way to fire vehicles and safety accident prevention education ▲training to secure fire lanes within the section ▲guidance against illegal parking ▲citizen ride-along experience ▲public campaign for giving way to fire trucks.
