Advisory Role in Promoting Research Statistical Surveys
The Korea Women Venture Association announced on the 1st that it appointed research experts in the venture and startup fields as policy advisory committee members at Tipstown in Gangnam, Seoul.

The appointed policy advisory committee members are Kim Young-hwan, Research Fellow of the Innovation Enterprise Research Group at the Science and Technology Policy Institute; Lee Mi-soon, Research Fellow of the Startup Venture Research Office at the Small and Medium Business Venture Research Institute; and Lee Seung-hyun, Research Fellow of the Women's Future Research Headquarters at the Korea Women's Policy Research Institute.
The Korea Women Venture Association recognized the need for systematic policy development and enhanced expertise in policy formulation for women ventures and startups. Accordingly, the policy advisory committee will play an advisory role in establishing mid- to long-term policy directions for women venture companies, identifying current policy issues, and promoting research and statistical surveys related to women ventures and startups. Through regular biannual meetings, they will share key policy issues and insights regarding the venture startup ecosystem and participate in policy forums and policy meetings hosted by the Korea Women Venture Association.

Yoon Mi-ok, President of the Korea Women Venture Association, said, "In a situation where the role of women venture companies is crucial as a future driving force for national economic growth, it is meaningful to establish a policy cooperation network for fostering women venture companies." She added, "We will actively reflect the advice of the policy advisory committee and strive to prepare effective policies for women ventures and startups."
