Dong-A Socio Holdings announced on the 1st that three companies?Dong-A Socio Holdings, Dong-A ST, and ST Pharm?received an overall A grade in the integrated ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) evaluation conducted by the Korea Corporate Governance Service (KCGS).

View original imageThe Korea Corporate Governance Service is an institution that evaluates the sustainability of domestic companies, assessing the systems and performance in the three areas of environment, society, and governance for listed companies, and publishes grades annually.
Dong-A Socio Holdings and Dong-A ST received an A+ grade in the social sector, one level higher than the previous year. Dong-A ST produced an environmental report covering environmental indicators and activities such as greenhouse gas emissions and energy usage in the environmental sector. Additionally, they established an environmental governance system to regularly report environmental issues to the board of directors. In the social sector, they established policies on human rights management, safety and health, unfair competition, and information protection, which were disclosed on their official website.
ST Pharm received an A grade in the environmental sector, two levels higher than the previous year. They also received A grades in the social and governance sectors, achieving an overall integrated A grade. In the environmental sector, they were highly evaluated for minimizing the use of organic solvents in manufacturing, reusing 70-80% of waste ethanol, and establishing a climate change response strategy. In the social sector, they enacted regulations on management ethics to declare socially responsible management and independently published a social responsibility performance report.
