Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Hosts Youth Assembly 'Wagle Wagle'
Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, will hold the youth general assembly 'Wagle Wagle' at Wolgok-dong Youth Culture House (Yaho Center) on the 4th.
'Wagle Wagle' is an activity where local youth identify issues themselves and propose policies.
About 200 youths from eight local organizations, including Gwangsan-gu Youth Training Center, Wondangsan Youth Culture House, Wolgok-dong Youth Culture House, Happy Dream Comprehensive Social Welfare Center, Kkamangi Small Library, Out-of-School Youth Support Center, Goryeoin Village Youth Culture Center, and Jeonnam Technical High School, will participate in the assembly.
Each organization selects one agenda item to present, covering a variety of topics from requests for support for youth to policy proposals aimed at solving community problems.
The district plans to share the eight agenda items presented by the youth with relevant departments and organizations and cooperate closely to ensure their implementation.
