The head of the National Assembly Security Unit at the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency has been placed on standby following allegations of receiving money and gifts from a drone company.
According to the police on the 31st, the National Police Agency took the measure to place Superintendent Lee, head of the National Assembly Security Unit at the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency, on standby. Superintendent Lee is suspected of violating the Improper Solicitation and Graft Act by receiving drones worth several million won from a related company after attending a drone-related event in 2021.
