DB HiTek Q3 Operating Profit 50.3 Billion KRW... 77% Decrease YoY
Sales down 40% to 267.8 billion KRW

DB HiTek announced on the 31st that its consolidated operating profit for the third quarter of this year was 50.3 billion KRW, a decrease of 77.18% compared to the same period last year.
During the same period, sales amounted to 267.8 billion KRW, down 40.14%, and net profit decreased by 69.27% to 52.5 billion KRW.
For the cumulative third quarter, sales reached 874.8 billion KRW, operating profit was 223.2 billion KRW, and the operating profit margin stood at 26%.
A DB HiTek representative stated, "In a situation where the global economic slowdown and geopolitical instability continue, the recovery of the semiconductor market has been delayed, which has impacted our sales and operating profit. We will enhance the technological gap in our existing power semiconductor business, which is recognized for its competitiveness, and expand our high value-added and high-growth product lineup to strengthen future preparedness."

Recently, DB HiTek announced initial investments in GaN (Gallium Nitride) and SiC (Silicon Carbide), next-generation power semiconductors attracting attention due to surging demand in sectors such as electric vehicles, mobile, and data centers. In August, the company secured a production capacity of 151,000 wafers per month through investments in equipment expansion and productivity improvements.
