Daewoo E&C "No Confirmation on Winning Contract for Turk Fertilizer Plant Construction"
On the 30th, Daewoo Engineering & Construction announced in response to an inquiry from the Korea Exchange that it is "in discussions regarding the contract for the construction of a fertilizer plant in Turkmenistan," but added that "there are currently no concrete details finalized."
Daewoo Engineering & Construction further stated, "We will re-disclose the information either when specific details regarding the contract for the construction of the fertilizer plant in Turkmenistan are finalized or within one month."
Earlier, the Korea Exchange requested a disclosure inquiry following media reports that Daewoo Engineering & Construction was about to secure a contract worth 3 trillion KRW in Turkmenistan.

On the same day, some media outlets reported that Daewoo Engineering & Construction is scheduled to sign a contract worth 3 trillion KRW early next month to newly construct the 'Balkan Urea-Ammonia Fertilizer Plant' and the 'Turkmenabat Phosphate Fertilizer Plant' in Turkmenistan.
