50-Year-Old Man Arrested for Sending Email About 'Jeongui Guheon Priest Group Bomb Terror'
The police have arrested a man in his 50s who sent an email threatening a bomb attack to the Catholic Priests' Association for Justice.
On the 30th, Seoul Hyehwa Police Station announced that they arrested and detained Mr. A on charges of intimidation for sending an email to the Priests' Association stating, "I am warning of a bomb installation. I will kill only 20 people and then run away."
Hyehwa Police Station received the case from the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency on the 20th, identified Mr. A as a suspect on the 26th, and arrested him in Daejeon on the 27th, conducting a search and seizure of his mobile phone, tablet PC, and other devices. No explosives were found at Mr. A's residence.
