Seoul City Conducts Fire Safety Inspections at 230 Exam Sites Ahead of the College Entrance Exam
The Seoul Fire and Disaster Headquarters announced on the 30th that it will conduct fire safety inspections and safety consulting at the 2024 College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) exam sites until the 3rd of next month.
The Fire and Disaster Headquarters plans to deploy 235 fire safety inspectors from 25 fire stations to 230 CSAT exam sites across the city, aiming to eliminate fire hazards in advance and ensure the safety of university entrance exam candidates.
The inspection will focus on checking the maintenance of fire facilities such as automatic fire detection systems, the proper placement of fire extinguishers, and securing evacuation routes and fire truck access routes in preparation for emergencies.

Minor defects found during the inspection will be corrected immediately on-site, and issues requiring additional time for improvement will be addressed by the 14th of next month, before the CSAT.
