Veteran Um Jae-woong claimed the Korean Tour title in his hometown after 5 years.
On the 29th, at the KPGA Korean Tour Baeksong Holdings-Asiad CC Busan Open (total prize money 800 million KRW) held at Asiad Country Club in Gijang-gun, Busan (par 71, 7,103 yards), he lost one stroke in the 4th round but secured a 3-stroke victory (15 under par 269). This marked his second Korean Tour win since his victory at the Huons Celebrity Pro-Am in September 2018. He took home the winner's prize of 200 million KRW plus an additional 'bonus prize' of 200 million KRW provided by the organizer.

Um Jae-woong started the round with a one-stroke lead, recording one birdie and two bogeys. After a birdie on the 5th hole (par 5), he lost it back with a bogey on the 6th hole (par 3), then maintained par for the next nine holes. He made another bogey on the 16th hole (par 3), but it did not affect his victory. Since debuting on the Korean Tour in 2009, Um has recently been active mainly on the Asian Tour. This year’s tournament was his third event, and he missed the cut in the previous two.

Park Sang-hyun, who was aiming for back-to-back wins, lost three strokes and settled for runner-up (13 under par 271). Ham Jung-woo, Lee Tae-hee, and Shin Sang-heun tied for third place (9 under par 275), Kang Kyung-nam and Lee Tae-hoon (Canada) tied for sixth (8 under par 276), and Cho Min-kyu and Kwon Sung-yeol tied for ninth (7 under par 277). PGA member Kim Sung-hyun finished tied for 16th (4 under par 280). Defending champion Hwang Jung-gon ended up tied for 46th (4 over par 290).
