Hankyung Association Recruits Retired CEOs and Executives from Large Corporations for SME Management Advisory Group
Selecting Around 20 People... Recruitment for 2 Weeks from October 30 to November 10
The Korea Economic Association Small and Medium Business Cooperation Center announced on the 30th that it is recruiting a management advisory group for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
The recruitment period is from today until the 10th of next month. Experts in finance, financial management, technology development, marketing, overseas expansion, and new industry fields will be selected. Preference will be given to residents of Gyeongsangnam-do.
Anyone under the age of 65 who has retired after serving as an executive-level officer for more than 5 years at a large corporation or has retired after serving as a CEO of a mid-sized company for more than 5 years can apply. Applications can be submitted through the notice section on the center's website by the 10th of next month.
The advisory group was launched in July 2004. It consists of about 240 former CEOs and executives from large corporations such as Samsung, SK, Hyundai Motor, and LG.

Park Cheolhan, director of the center, said, "The advisory group is the only platform in Korea for co-growth between large and small-to-medium enterprises, and until last year, it provided advisory services to 11,561 SMEs nationwide." He added, "As the demand for advisory services in Gyeongnam SMEs and in new industry fields such as finance, financial management, and artificial intelligence (AI) is increasing, we expect many participants from Gyeongnam residents and retired CEOs and executives from large corporations."
