SK C&C Opens Overseas Export Path for Digital Systems with Cloud AM Technology
SK C&C is expanding its export of digital systems to global markets including the United States and Europe.
On the 26th, SK C&C announced that it will explore new global digital markets in the US and Europe to expand exports of digital systems based on cloud AM (Application Modernization).
Cloud AM refers to designing, building, and operating optimal digital systems using the latest cloud technologies tailored to customer requirements. By adopting AM, development, modification, and updates of services or events can be performed only on the relevant parts, and necessary cloud infrastructure can be quickly scaled at any time. In case of service failures, only the affected functional parts can be isolated and addressed, eliminating the risk of service interruption.
Since early this year, SK C&C has been building a hybrid cloud-based digital factory system for a US semiconductor glass substrate manufacturing company’s plant. Recently, it also started constructing a cloud AM-based system for an electric vehicle fast charger manufacturing plant. This allows new equipment or processes to be applied quickly at any time without system downtime.
Based on large-scale next-generation digital system construction projects carried out across various industries such as finance, manufacturing, distribution, and commerce, SK C&C continues to discover optimal cloud AM businesses suited for the global market. Additionally, it plans to further expand ‘AM consulting’ with its consulting subsidiary, Accerton Partners, and accelerate the development of digital factory businesses based on cloud AM in the European market following the US.
