Gangnam-gu (District Mayor Jo Seong-myeong) has established Gangnam Segok Sports Park (formerly Dolsan Sports Park), the first district-run sports park in Gangnam-gu, in the San 1-7 area of Segok-dong, and held a completion ceremony at 4 p.m. on the 25th.
The 43,968㎡ (approximately 13,300 pyeong) of land, which had been neglected for the past 50 years, was developed into a sports park, fulfilling the long-standing wish of the residents. The sports park consists of a soccer field (1 field), tennis courts (4 courts), a multipurpose sports ground, a children's playground, fitness equipment, walking trails, shower facilities, and a parking lot (60 spaces). The rental and lessons for the soccer field and tennis courts are planned to officially start in January 2024, with applications available through the Gangnam-gu website and the integrated reservation site.
