Sinsung ENG Vice President Lee Young-il Receives Industrial Development Merit Industrial Medal Award
Shinsung ENG announced on the 25th that Vice President Lee Young-il received the 'Industrial Medal' award at the Machinery, Robot, and Aviation Industry Development Merit Awards hosted by the Korea Machinery Industry Promotion Association under the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.
The Development Merit Awards have been implemented since 1984 to boost the pride of contributors and companies that have contributed to technology development and commercialization in the capital goods industry, and to strengthen national competitiveness through new market development and job creation.
Vice President Lee Young-il, who received the Industrial Medal, has contributed to the growth of the domestic cleanroom industry since joining the company in 1995 by developing cleanroom and air conditioning equipment and applying modular construction methods. He developed the world's first HPL (High Performance Lift) equipment, which applies a 'modular construction method' that modularizes all processes of the FAB ceiling during cleanroom construction. This converted high-altitude work into lower-level tasks, improving working conditions by enhancing quality inspection, productivity, and preventing safety accidents.
Vice President Lee said, "We have developed technologies in high-efficiency clean systems, optimal energy air conditioning systems, and plant engineering fields," adding, "We will take the lead in providing optimized systems for various industries including domestic and international clean industries such as semiconductors, displays, chemicals, secondary batteries, and bio, as well as national growth industries."
