Seogwipo Fire Station Conducts Infection Control Committee and Paramedic Special Training
Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Seogwipo Fire Station (Chief Park Gwang-chan) announced on the 23rd that it held the second half infection control committee meeting for the health and infection prevention of paramedics, along with Pre-Ktas (Korean-style pre-hospital severity classification) preliminary training for selecting emergency patient transport hospitals.

On this day, the training was conducted by the Seogwipo Fire Station’s medical director and instructors, covering ▲ matters for infection and health management of paramedics ▲ efficient measures for the infection control room ▲ patient visual assessment ▲ severity classification and system theory at the hospital stage ▲ electrocardiogram education.
Chief Park Gwang-chan said, “We will not stop systematic management and continuous improvement for infection prevention of paramedics,” adding, “Through pre-hospital severity classification and electrocardiogram education, we will provide high-quality emergency services and do our best to protect the lives of residents.”
