Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon stated regarding the 'Climate Companion Card' that "continuous consultations will be maintained among the three metropolitan cities and provinces."
At the National Assembly Land, Infrastructure and Transport Committee's Seoul City audit held at Seoul City Hall on the 23rd, Mayor Oh responded to a question from Kwon Young-se of the People Power Party about the status of consultations, saying, "We plan to hold a directors' meeting in Incheon on the 7th of next month," adding, "We will have in-depth discussions."

The pilot project for the Climate Companion Card is scheduled for early next year. Previously, Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon held the first meeting of the metropolitan area consultative body on the 26th of last month.
Regarding criticism that the incentive effect is not significant considering the price effect, Mayor Oh said, "I would like to lower it significantly if possible," but added, "Given the financial conditions, I believe this level is appropriate."
