Korea Zinc Takes Children from Welfare Center Sponsored for Over 10 Years on a Trip to Seoul Grand Park
All Employees Aim for Volunteer Work at Least Once a Year
"Growing Together with the Community through Volunteer Activities"
Korea Zinc announced on the 23rd that it went on an outing to Seoul Grand Park with children from Dongmyeong Child Welfare Center, which it has been sponsoring for over 10 years.
On the 20th, some employees of Korea Zinc spent time at the Seoul Grand Park Zoo with about 10 children aged 7 to 8 who cannot be cared for at home. The volunteers conducted various one-on-one programs with the children in the facility and also gave them snacks they had personally packed as gifts.
Korea Zinc planned this volunteer activity to give the children in the facility, who usually cannot participate in outdoor activities often, a special experience. Since continuity is important in volunteer activities for children in facilities, Korea Zinc intends to regularly carry out outdoor volunteer activities.
