'Resolving Export Company Challenges'... Ministry of Economy and Finance Holds Overseas Certification System Briefing Session
The Ministry of Economy and Finance will hold an overseas certification system briefing session and one-on-one consultation meeting for three days starting from the 23rd to resolve difficulties faced by export companies.
The briefing session will be held at the Trade Tower in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, hosted by the Ministry's One-Stop Export Order Support Team, the National Institute of Technology and Standards' Overseas Certification Support Team, and the Korea International Trade Association. Information will be provided in five fields with high demand from small and medium export enterprises: IT & Electronics, Machinery & Robotics, Food & Cosmetics, Medical Devices, and Daily Necessities & ESG. Approximately 300 representatives from export companies who applied in advance are expected to attend.
Domestic overseas certification specialized institutions such as the Korea Testing Laboratory (KTL), Korea Testing Certification (KTC), and Korea Testing & Research Institute (KTR) will also participate. After the field-specific briefings, one-on-one expert consultation booths will be operated for pre-registered companies to support customized overseas certification acquisition.

Kim Byung-hwan, First Vice Minister of the Ministry of Economy and Finance and head of the One-Stop Export Order Support Team, stated, “It is important for domestic companies to identify overseas certification information necessary for export in advance as the first gateway to global expansion.” He added, “The government will continue to provide multifaceted support to resolve overseas certification difficulties faced by our companies.”
