Eunpyeong-gu, Wastewater Discharge Facility Map Inspection
Guidance and Inspection of 30 Wastewater Discharge Facilities by Early December This Year
Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) announced that it will conduct guidance and inspections on 30 wastewater discharge facilities by early December this year.
The inspection targets were selected according to the integrated guidance and inspection regulations concerning facilities that discharge environmental pollutants.
The inspection items include ▲whether the reported installation details of wastewater discharge facilities match their operation ▲whether water pollution prevention facilities are operating normally ▲compliance with wastewater discharge standards ▲and whether operation logs of wastewater discharge facilities are being maintained.
Based on the inspection results, minor issues will be corrected on-site, while serious violations will be subject to administrative actions such as fines or legal prosecution.

An Eunpyeong-gu official stated, “Through this inspection of wastewater discharge facilities, we will prevent accidents involving the inflow of water pollutants into public water bodies and thoroughly manage violating businesses to create a clean and safe water quality environment.”
