At around 5:57 a.m. on the 22nd, an 8-ton fishing boat fishing 1.6 km east of Hawangdeungdo, Wido-myeon, Buan-gun, Jeonbuk, collided with a 133-ton tugboat and capsized, resulting in 4 deaths. The accident site is located 32 km from Gyeokpo Port.

Among them, 4 people in cardiac arrest were urgently transported to a nearby hospital using helicopters and other means but ultimately died. One other person is in serious condition, and 13 people have minor abrasions and are reported to be out of life-threatening danger.
