Jeon Yeo-ok on Jo Min Wearing a Swimsuit for Paid Advertisement: "Mental Age Cannot Be Gauged"
"Statement Admitting Entrance Exam Fraud Also Incomprehensible"
Former National Assembly member Jeon Yeo-ok recently criticized Cho Min, the daughter of former Minister of Justice Cho Kuk, who revealed a swimsuit photo on Instagram as a paid hotel advertisement, saying, "Her mental age is incomprehensible."
On the 21st, Jeon posted on her blog titled "Jjomin, next is the Calong bikini?" saying, "Jjomin is busy. She went to Phu Quoc and did a 'paid advertisement.' She liked it so much that she doesn't want to go home. Her mental age is incomprehensible," and sarcastically added, "Blinded by the advertising fee, she even showed off a swimsuit. The next advertiser will probably say, 'Double the payment if you wear a Calong bikini,' right?"
This was in response to an Instagram post uploaded by Cho on the 19th. Cho posted a photo of a hotel swimming pool at the Vietnamese resort Phu Quoc, writing, "The accommodation in Phu Quoc was perfect in every way. I wanted to live here." She also added the hashtag #paidadvertisement. The post was an advertisement for the hotel.
Jeon also harshly criticized Cho for recently submitting a statement to the court acknowledging all charges related to her admission fraud allegations.
Jeon said, "'I know that a fake certificate was attached to the admission documents,' but 'I don't know the process of making the fake certificate'?Cho Min's words are utterly incomprehensible," and questioned, "She admits to the prosecution's investigation because she doesn't want to go to prison, but says, 'I used a forged document, but I didn't make it'?"
On the 13th, Cho submitted a statement to the presiding court acknowledging the charges and agreeing with the evidence. It was reported that she argued in the statement that the prosecution's indictment was an abuse of prosecution rights and that the charges should be dismissed.
After submitting the statement, Cho explained on Instagram, "I want to address the flood of articles before the trial saying, 'She changed her stance considering sentencing and admits everything.' During the prosecution's investigation, I testified that 1. I was not involved in the creation process of the career verification documents, and 2. I acknowledged submitting the documents despite knowing that the contents did not exactly match my activities."
She continued, "Later, the prosecution did not indict me on point 1 but only on point 2. The already acknowledged point 2 is stated in the indictment, and I admitted to that charge," emphasizing this point.
