View original imageShinhan Financial Group announced on the 22nd that it conducted a 'Namsan Dulle-gil Plogging Volunteer Activity' with participation from the group’s CEOs, including Chairman Jin Ok-dong.
Plogging is an activity that involves picking up trash while jogging. Prior to the event, Chairman Jin held a group management meeting to review the ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management achievements that have been continuously pursued since his inauguration and emphasized the company’s social role and commitment.
Since April, Shinhan Financial has shared the results of the 'Save Campaign,' in which all employees practiced energy saving for six months by turning off building lights, using public transportation, and reducing the use of paper and disposable cups.
Through this campaign, Shinhan Financial plans to create a fund totaling 1.7 billion KRW, combining approximately 850 million KRW saved from the campaign with the group’s donations, to support energy-vulnerable groups so they can have a warm winter.
