Jeju Western Fire Station (Chief Ko Jeong-bae) announced on the 20th that it conducted a 'Disability Awareness Improvement Education' for all employees in the main conference room.

This education was conducted by inviting an external instructor (Lee Ji-hyeok from Jeju Center for Independent Living of Persons with Disabilities), focusing on case studies to help employees easily understand the need for changes in social perception of disabilities and prejudice-free understanding.
For job improvement, training on ▲strengthening psychological support for firefighters ▲preventing safety accidents during field activities was also conducted.
Chief Ko Jeong-bae said, "Through this education, I hope to foster a correct awareness of disabilities and create an organizational culture of mutual respect and consideration without discrimination."
