The Gyeongnam Gimhae Citizen Health Festival will be held again at Sureungwon on the 27th after four years.
According to the city, the Gimhae Citizen Health Festival, which had been suspended due to the impact of COVID-19, will resume this year and take place over two days under the theme "Embracing Health, Connecting Happiness, Opening the Future."
The festival will feature participation from 35 health-related institutions and organizations, offering various free medical service experiences such as musculoskeletal consultations, physical therapy, Chuna manual therapy, stress tests, and fundus examinations.
Planned events include National Fitness 100, special zones for hypertension and diabetes, a citizen health playground, a dream tree health experience center, tuberculosis screening, and blood donation.
Special events such as the SWWM (Speed Walking with Music) walking exercise class, introduced by the British BBC, an escape room quiz game, and a retro autumn sports day will also be held.
Participation in the walking exercise class, quiz game, and autumn sports day requires prior reservation.
For detailed information such as reservations, inquiries can be made to the City Hall Health Promotion Division or the City Health Center.
Through the resumption of this festival, Gimhae City plans to create a platform for sharing accurate health information and organize a resident-centered experiential festival that can be enjoyed diversely across generations, genders, and social classes, aiming to spread a culture of healthy living practices.
