National Gwangju Science Museum Hosts the 16th Phil Science Forum
The National Gwangju Science Museum will hold the 16th Phil Science Forum on the 21st at the Sang-sang Hall of the building, in collaboration with the Korean Federation of Science and Technology Societies Gwangju-Jeonnam Regional Association, under the theme "Nobel Prize, Nurturing the Dream of Science in the Republic of Korea."
This forum will examine the current status of basic science and technology in the Republic of Korea and provide a platform for in-depth diagnosis and discussion among experts from various fields and visitors to foster future Nobel Prize winners.
The forum will begin with a keynote presentation on the "Nobel Prize" by Noh Do-young, President of the Institute for Basic Science, followed by a panel discussion.
Panelists include Hong Seong-min, Center Director of the Science and Technology Policy Institute, Jang Byung-joo, Dean of the University of Science and Technology, Choi Seong-gwang, Superintendent of Gwangju Metropolitan Office of Education, and Seon Ju-won, Director of the Gifted Education Institute at Gwangju National University of Education.
