The ‘Shareholders’ Meeting (주주총회)’, combining the characters for house/space (宙) and alcohol (酒), is a new concept liquor event first introduced by Lotte Mart in October last year. This event significantly expands the range of products from the wine-focused event called ‘Wine Market’ held twice a year in spring and autumn since 2009, to include whiskey, distilled soju, and wine accessories, making it the largest liquor event of the year. The spring 2023 ‘Shareholders’ Meeting’ held in April saw total sales increase by more than 30% compared to the same period last year, receiving a warm response.
About 600 popular wines and whiskeys will be showcased nationwide at Lotte Mart, MAXX stores, and 25 Lotte Super locations. This autumn event has prepared over 30% more stock than the spring Shareholders’ Meeting to help customers get ready for year-end home parties in advance.
As a representative product, the ‘L Wine’, loved for its cost-effectiveness, will be sold at a 30% discount when purchasing two bottles or more, and a 50% discount when purchasing three bottles or more. When buying three or more bottles, each bottle costs 3,950 KRW, which is the lowest price ever.
Package products that include brand-exclusive glasses, making them great gifts for the year-end season, are also prepared. These include the ‘Wonsoju Shot Glass Package’, which contains two exclusive shot glasses for the distilled soju ‘Wonsoju Original’?famously known as the so-called Park Jaebeom soju that caused a sold-out frenzy?as well as packages featuring exclusive glasses for various world beers such as ‘Stella Artois’ and ‘Paulaner’.
Under the theme of ‘Operation Liquor’, which aims to bring the whiskey you’ve wanted to collect into your liquor cabinet, popular whiskey products will be sold in limited quantities. Representative products such as ‘Macallan 12 Year Sherry Oak’, ‘Hibiki Harmony’, and ‘Balvenie 21 Year/25 Year’ will be available in daily limited sales. Since these are major popular products that sparked a whiskey open-run craze, this daily limited sale event is expected to be especially popular among consumers in their 20s and 30s.
Purchases of wine event products over 100,000 KRW using Lotte, Shinhan, or KB Kookmin cards will receive an additional 5,000 KRW discount, and purchases over 200,000 KRW will receive an additional 20,000 KRW discount. For liquor event products, an additional 10,000 KRW discount applies for purchases over 200,000 KRW.

We have prepared various event products not only for popular wines and whiskeys but also in line with liquor trends, so we hope customers visit the stores and enjoy the ‘Shareholders’ Meeting.’”
