Ssangyong Construction Holds 46th Anniversary Celebration Event
Ssangyong Engineering & Construction announced on the 17th that it held a founding anniversary event in the main conference room of its headquarters to celebrate its 46th anniversary.
The event was attended by 90 people, including Kim Woong-ki, chairman of the Global Sea Group, the largest shareholder of Ssangyong Engineering & Construction, top executives, and employees.

During the ceremony, a total of 86 employees who had long-term service of 30, 25, 20, 15, and 10 years were presented with plaques of appreciation and service awards as a token of gratitude.
At the ceremony, Chairman Kim Woong-ki delivered a message saying, “On this very meaningful day commemorating the 46th anniversary of Ssangyong Engineering & Construction, I promise to restore the former reputation and glory that Ssangyong Engineering & Construction once enjoyed,” and exchanged congratulatory greetings with the employees.
He also emphasized in his commemorative speech, “Only the fruits of achievement gained through passion, enthusiasm, and courageous challenges will be the driving force for the development of both the employees and Ssangyong Engineering & Construction.”
After the ceremony, the first generation of the Ssangyong Engineering & Construction Junior Board held ‘AnnyeonghaCEO,’ a meeting between management and junior employees, to mark the founding anniversary. This event was exclusively for junior employees (staff, assistant managers, and managers below) and provided an opportunity for communication and Q&A with the management.

Meanwhile, before the ceremony, the Junior Board held an event providing celebratory refreshments to headquarters employees to express gratitude for their hard work and to create an occasion for everyone to celebrate the founding anniversary together.
