‘Daiso Logistics Hub’ Established in Sejong Smart Green Industrial Complex
Asung Daiso Co., Ltd. is establishing a logistics hub for the southern Gyeonggi and Chungcheong regions in the Sejong Smart Green Industrial Complex.
On the 17th, Sejong City announced that it signed an investment agreement with Asung Daiso regarding this plan. The agreement centers on Asung Daiso investing 350 billion KRW to build the Sejong Hub Center with a total floor area of 154,710㎡ in the Smart Green Industrial Complex.
The Sejong Hub Center will be the largest logistics facility in the country, scheduled to begin construction in June next year and be completed in 2026. After completion, the Sejong Hub Center will serve as a logistics hub supplying products to stores in southern Gyeonggi and the Chungcheong region.
Through this, Sejong City expects to create about 700 jobs locally.
Sejong City plans to support the permitting process during the construction of the Sejong Hub Center by Asung Daiso and will provide administrative support to help the Sejong Hub Center establish itself as a logistics hub.
