Gwangju Nam-gu to Host Job Fair Next Month... Recruiting Hiring Companies
Nam-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, plans to hold the 2023 Nam-gu Job Fair next month at Gwangju University and is publicly recruiting companies to participate in the fair.
Additionally, the pre-registration system for job seekers, introduced for the first time last year to assist job seekers in finding employment, will be implemented again this year, providing job seekers with an opportunity to promote themselves to hiring companies.
According to Nam-gu on the 16th, the 2023 Nam-gu Job Fair will be held on November 23rd from 2 p.m. at the Gwangju University gymnasium.
Through the job fair, Nam-gu will recruit about 80 hiring companies to offer various job opportunities to job seekers.
The recruitment scale includes 20 companies that will hire job seekers directly at the job fair and 60 companies that will participate indirectly by using recruitment notice boards to hire personnel.
It is expected that companies registered on Worknet, related organizations, and small and medium-sized enterprises will participate.
Companies wishing to participate in the job fair must submit an application form to the person in charge via email or fax by the 27th.
In addition, Nam-gu will start accepting pre-registrations from job seekers beginning on the 23rd.
The pre-registration system for job seekers, which received great response last year, allows job seekers to introduce themselves to hiring companies before the job fair. Moreover, submitting a pre-registration form to companies conducting on-site hiring increases the possibility of tailored employment success through interviews on the day of the event.
Following last year’s practice, Nam-gu provides a service where job seekers submit their desired companies and industries, along with self-introductions and resumes, to the district office. The office then finds hiring companies that match these conditions and connects them with the job seekers. If a job seeker wishes to apply to multiple companies, they can submit pre-registration forms for each company.
Furthermore, starting November 13th, the district office plans to update information daily on its website regarding hiring companies and available job positions to provide various employment information for job seekers.
