Hong Taeyong, Mayor of Gimhae, Benchmarks While Touring Mokpo Sports Complex
Mokpo City (Mayor Park Hong-ryul) announced on the 16th that Gimhae City, the main host city of the 2024 National (Disabled) Sports Festival, visited the 104th National Sports Festival, which is being held on the largest scale ever, to ensure successful event preparations on the 14th.

At this occasion, Mayor Hong Tae-yong of Gimhae thoroughly examined not only the interior of the Mokpo Sports Complex but also the layout and utilization plans, and carefully observed the progress of the festival's competitions.
Mayor Park Hong-ryul of Mokpo said, “The 104th National Sports Festival, held on the largest scale ever including overseas Korean athlete delegations, is progressing smoothly with the goals of being an economic, cultural, and inspiring sports festival. We will do our best in this year’s festival hosted by Mokpo to ensure that the 105th National Sports Festival next year shines even brighter.”
Mayor Hong Tae-yong of Gimhae stated, “The successful hosting of the 104th National Sports Festival will serve as a foundation, and coinciding with the 2024 Year of Visit Gimhae, we will actively strive to make the 105th National Sports Festival a successful event that combines tourism and culture.”
