The ‘Supply Chain Forum for MSMEs in the Asia-Pacific’ is an event organized for various public and private stakeholders, including government officials from APEC member countries, SMEs, and digital-related academic experts, to diagnose the supply chain crises faced by SMEs in the Asia-Pacific region and discuss cooperation measures. Emro attended the forum upon invitation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Cheon Gil-woong, Executive Director of the Sales Headquarters, gave a presentation titled ‘Response and Improvement Cases of SME Supply Chain Crises through Digital Technology.’
In his presentation, Executive Director Cheon emphasized the necessity of ▲improving the delivery system reflecting raw material price fluctuations ▲introducing a prediction system for raw material price and supply risks ▲implementing an inventory management system based on demand forecasting.
He introduced Emro’s various AI software that predicts price fluctuation trends of key materials and future product demand, as well as a supply chain finance platform combining cloud-based supply chain management services and customized financial services. He also shared cases where companies proactively responded to supply chain crises through solutions such as the delivery payment linkage system, which Emro was the first in the industry to launch in preparation for the revision of the Subcontracting Act.
