Korea Health Industry Development Institute to Host Health Industry Policy Research Forum Next Month
The Korea Health Industry Development Institute's Health Industry Policy Research Center announced on the 16th that it will hold the "1st Health Industry Policy Research Forum" at the President Hotel in Seoul on the 10th of next month.
This forum will provide a platform for public discussion on policy directions under the theme "Ethical Measures for the Safe Use of Medical Artificial Intelligence."
The keynote presentations will cover three topics: ▲ "Current Status and Prospects of Medical Artificial Intelligence" (Dr. Kim Eun-young, KHIDI), ▲ "Law and Norms of Medical Artificial Intelligence" (Professor Lee Won-bok, Ewha Womans University Law School), and ▲ "Industrialization and Ethics of Medical Artificial Intelligence" (Professor Lee Il-hak, Yonsei University College of Medicine).
Following this, the discussion session will focus on "Ethical Measures for the Safe Use of Medical Artificial Intelligence: What and How Should We Prepare?" where experts from academia, private sector, and government will share insights and explore policy directions.
Lee Haeng-shin, Director of the Health Industry Policy Research Center at KHIDI, stated, "We hope this forum will serve as a meaningful platform to explore ethical measures for the development of the medical AI industry."
