Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, Attends Mapo District Association President's Badminton Tournament
Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, attended the 34th Mapo District President's Badminton Tournament held at the Mapo District Sports Center on the morning of the 15th.
Hosted by the Mapo District Sports Council and organized by the Mapo District Badminton Association, approximately 840 participants and officials attended the tournament, which began with men's and women's doubles preliminary matches starting at 8 a.m.
The opening ceremony that followed included the return of the championship flag, commendations for meritorious persons, and an oath by the player representative, after which the men's and women's doubles final matches were held until 6 p.m.

Mayor Park Gang-su of Mapo District said, "I hope all participants will fully demonstrate the skills they have honed while being careful to avoid injuries until the tournament concludes." He added, "Mapo District operates two dedicated badminton courts and four multipurpose gymnasiums open year-round, 365 days a year, to promote community sports, and we will continue to provide support to expand the sports infrastructure."
