The police have requested an arrest warrant for a man in his 40s who left a weapon in front of Minister of Justice Han Dong-hoon's house.
According to the Suseo Police Station in Seoul on the 15th, Mr. A (42) is suspected of leaving a weapon and an ignition torch in front of the entrance door of Minister Han's apartment in Dogok-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, around 3 a.m. on the 11th, on charges of special intimidation and special trespassing.
During the police investigation, Mr. A stated, "I wanted to visit the house of a powerful person who has been bothering me for over two years and express my feelings." It is known that Mr. A found Minister Han's home address through internet searches and stated that he has never been affiliated with any political party or organization.
