SK Square and Estonian Business Authority Sign ICT Investment MOU

Choi Tae-won, Chairman of SK Group, held a series of meetings with high-ranking government officials from Estonia and CARICOM (Caribbean Community) who visited Korea, discussing cooperation plans in the economic and industrial sectors.
On the 13th, Chairman Choi met with Estonian President Alar Karis and senior government officials at the SK Seorin Building in Jongno-gu, Seoul, and shared a luncheon, SK Group announced on the 15th. At this meeting, Chairman Choi and President Karis agreed to enhance bilateral cooperation in fields such as information and communication technology (ICT) and green energy.

As part of bilateral cooperation, SK Square signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Estonian Business Authority regarding ICT investment cooperation. SK Square plans to invest in innovative companies in the ICT, environment, and energy sectors through Estonia's sovereign wealth fund SmartCap.
On the previous day, the 12th, Chairman Choi had dinner with delegations from CARICOM countries including Jamaica, Grenada, and Belize, who visited Korea to attend the 'Korea-Caribbean High-Level Forum' at the SK Seorin Building, discussing cooperation plans in industries such as agriculture, ICT, and tourism.
Following the meetings with representatives from various countries over two days, Chairman Choi moved to Paris, France, where he will join SK's top executives at the 'CEO Seminar' held over three days starting on the 16th to develop global strategies for core businesses.
