On Saturday the 14th, rain will repeatedly start and stop nationwide.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, due to a pressure trough passing north of the country, rain accompanied by thunder and lightning is falling from dawn in some areas of Incheon, the western coast of Gyeonggi, and the western coast of Chungnam.
On the 15th, citizens are walking with umbrellas in Gwanghwamun, Seoul, where autumn rain is falling in most parts of the country including Seoul. The Korea Meteorological Administration forecasted that until the weekend, there will be times when rain accompanied by gusts, thunder, and lightning will pour at a rate of 10 to 30 mm per hour. View original imageThe rain cloud band will gradually move eastward, bringing rain to the central region and Jeonbuk from morning through the night, and rain will continue until early dawn on the 15th in the southeastern part of Gyeonggi and the Yeongseo region of Gangwon.
The rain will expand to the northern western coast of Jeonnam in the morning, and to the northern Jeonnam region, Gyeongbuk region, and northwestern inland Gyeongnam in the afternoon. From morning to evening, light raindrops less than 0.1mm will fall in other parts of Jeonnam and Jeju Island.
This rain will repeatedly start and stop, with occasional gusts, thunder, lightning, and places experiencing rainfall rates of up to 20mm per hour. Especially, hail may fall in the central region excluding the eastern coast of Gangwon, Jeonbuk, and the northern and western inland areas of Gyeongbuk.
Expected precipitation amounts are 5 to 40mm in the Seoul metropolitan area, Yeongseo region of Gangwon, Chungcheong region, and northern western coast of Jeonbuk; 5 to 20mm in Yeongdong region of Gangwon, Jeonbuk, Daegu, Gyeongbuk, Ulleungdo, and Dokdo; and around 5mm in Gwangju, northern Jeonnam, and northwestern inland Gyeongnam.
The morning low and daytime high temperatures on the 14th will be between 10 and 16 degrees Celsius and 17 to 24 degrees Celsius, respectively, and on the 15th, between 9 and 16 degrees Celsius and 19 to 23 degrees Celsius. These temperatures will be slightly higher or similar to the average (morning 6 to 14 degrees Celsius, daytime 18 to 22 degrees Celsius).
At 8 a.m. on the 14th, temperatures in major cities are Seoul 14.1°C, Incheon 15.2°C, Daejeon 12.3°C, Gwangju 14.6°C, Daegu 15.0°C, Ulsan 15.4°C, and Busan 18.9°C.
Until the morning of this day, fog with visibility less than 1 km will form mainly inland, requiring caution for traffic safety. As of 5:20 a.m., visibility was 90m in Bonghwa-gun, Gyeongbuk, 200m in Goesan, Chungbuk, and 210m in Daegwallyeong due to fog.

Until the 16th, strong winds with gusts around 55 km/h (15 m/s) will blow along the western coast, Yeongdong region of Gangwon, Gyeongbuk region, and Jeju Island. Until the 14th, strong winds of 30 to 45 km/h (8 to 13 m/s) will blow in the southern offshore waters of Jeju Island, and from the afternoon of the 15th, in the offshore waters of the West Sea and East Sea, with waves rising to 1.0 to 3.0 meters high.
