Hwaseong History Museum Operates 'Weekend Family Experience Program'

The Hwaseong City History Museum in Gyeonggi-do will operate a 'Weekend Family Experience Program' that families can enjoy together, held six times from the 14th of this month until the 26th of next month.
Linked to the 17th special exhibition scheduled for the 28th of next month, this program consists of ▲ Drawing Our Family Portraits ▲ Making Oil Paper Crafts.
'Drawing Our Family Portraits' will be held every Saturday from the 14th of this month until the 4th of next month. Participants will appreciate the ‘Shin Ibok Portrait Oil Paper Original’ displayed in the Records Culture Room and draw portraits using traditional techniques.
'Making Oil Paper Crafts,' held every Sunday from the 12th to the 26th of next month, is a program where participants create crafts using oil paper (Yuji), which is paper treated with oil.
Families wishing to participate must make a reservation in advance through the Hwaseong City integrated reservation system, and the number of participants is limited to 15 teams per session on a first-come, first-served basis.

Jung Sang-hoon, Director of the Cultural Heritage Division of Hwaseong City, said, "We hope this program will be an opportunity to understand the characteristics and art historical value of the artifacts held by the museum and to raise anticipation for the special exhibition."
