Dong-A University Donates 30 Million + 20 Million + 10 Million Won 4th Development Fund to College of Engineering
Alumni Kim Young-shin, Kim Deok-yeol, and Kim Kwon-je Donate Generously
Dong-A University held the 4th Engineering College Development Fund Donation Ceremony in the lobby of Engineering Building 2 at Seunghak Campus, known as the "Engineering College Hall of Fame."
The event, held on the 12th, was attended by Jang Sang-mok, Dean of the College of Engineering; Kim Young-shin, Vice President of KTE; Kim Deok-yeol, CEO of Dunam Chemical; Kim Kwon-je, CEO of IQ Lab Co., Ltd.; donors and corporate representatives; and professors from the College of Engineering.
At the ceremony, Vice President Kim Young-shin donated 30 million KRW, CEO Kim Deok-yeol donated 20 million KRW, and CEO Kim Kwon-je donated 10 million KRW to the Engineering College Development Fund.
Kim Young-shin, a graduate of Dong-A University's Department of Electrical Engineering, has actively promoted industry-academia cooperation based on his affection for his alma mater and inducted Professor Park Jong-oh from the Department of Electronic Engineering into the Engineering College Hall of Fame.
CEO Kim Deok-yeol, an alumnus of Dong-A University's Department of Chemical Engineering and vice president of the Alumni Association, has contributed to the local community by establishing the Busan Youth Policy Research Institute. He inducted Professor Park Dong-won, an honorary professor of the Department of Chemical Engineering, into the Engineering College Hall of Fame.
Kim Kwon-je, who holds a Ph.D. in Nanotechnology from Dong-A University, serves as chairman of the Power Semiconductor Cooperative and inducted Dr. Shin Hoon-gyu into the Engineering College Hall of Fame.

He added, "KTE will become a new model for industry-academia cooperation in the local community. CEO Kim Deok-yeol of Dunam Chemical plays a significant role in solving youth issues in Busan, and CEO Kim Kwon-je of IQ Lab is expected to contribute greatly to Busan's key project, the power semiconductor industry."
The College of Engineering at Dong-A University opened the "Engineering College Hall of Fame" as the first step toward a new leap and future educational innovation.

The Hall of Fame honors individuals who have dedicated themselves to the development of the College of Engineering, including former President Lee Sang-yoon, the late Kim Man-su, chairman of Dong-A Tire Industry, Kim Jae-jin, chairman of Kyungdong Construction, the late Kim Taek-jin, the 1st and 3rd dean of the College of Engineering, the late Professor Park Woon-yong (the first chairman of the Civil Engineering Scholarship Foundation), and Professor Jeong Seong-kyo (emeritus professor).
