Special Lecture on the Vision and Future Directions for Jeonnam Fire Department
Hong Young-geun, the head of the Jeonnam Fire Headquarters, took time to communicate with newly appointed firefighters and discussed the proper attitude of public officials.
According to the Jeonnam Fire Headquarters on the 12th, Director Hong gave a special lecture on the policy direction of firefighting and the future vision of Jeonnam Fire to 63 newly appointed members of the 17th class of Jeonnam Fire.
The new trainees who entered the Jeonnam Fire Academy on September 11 will undergo a total of 24 weeks of specialized training in fire, rescue, and emergency medical services, as well as basic education on the proper attitude of public officials, before being assigned to fire stations.
In the special lecture, Director Hong presented the vision for Jeonnam Fire, including creating a citizen-centered fire safety culture, activating special policies, and providing the highest level of fire safety services.
He also urged the trainees to learn an organizational culture of mutual respect and consideration among staff and to take pride as firefighters responsible for public safety, becoming dignified firefighters.
