Busan Office of Education, Establishes Jeonggwan Middle School Digital Education Center
Busan Metropolitan Office of Education is establishing a 'Digital Education Center' at Jeonggwan Middle School in Gijang-gun to serve as a future education hub for the Haeundae area.
On the morning of the 12th, Busan Metropolitan Office of Education announced that it held the opening ceremony of the Jeonggwan Middle School 'Digital Education Center,' attended by about 50 officials including Ha Yun-su, Superintendent of Busan Metropolitan Office of Education, and Jeong Jong-bok, Mayor of Gijang-gun.
The 'Digital Education Center' is a training and experience space established within a digital-based future education hub school to generalize classes utilizing digital new technologies related to the 4th Industrial Revolution such as SW·AI, Big Data, IoT, Robotics, AR/VR, and Metaverse.
During the design process, the center reflected the opinions of Jeonggwan Middle School students and was composed of ▲ a visual experience space using future-type displays and media walls ▲ a flexible complex education space for learning, rest, experience, and collaboration activities ▲ a space for idea sharing, discussions, and collaborative activities using digital equipment.
The opening ceremony of Jeonggwan Middle School Digital Education Center is currently underway.
