Gwangju Shinsegae to Renew and Reopen Outdoor Store on the 15th

Gwangju Shinsegae Co., Ltd. (CEO Lee Dong-hoon) announced on the 12th that it will renovate its outdoor store and hold a renewal opening event until the 15th for customers enjoying outdoor activities such as hiking and camping in the fall.

Gwangju Shinsegae remodeled the outdoor store on the 7th floor of the main building and will hold various promotions based on purchase amounts by brand to commemorate the reopening.

The renovated store includes a total of 14 brands: Kolon Sports, The North Face, Discovery, National Geographic, Eider, Snow Peak, Nepa, Arc'teryx, Patagonia, K2, Black Yak, Kodak, Arena, and Nike Swim.

Gwangju Shinsegae has prepared various promotional events where customers receive gifts such as scarves and T-shirts depending on their purchase amounts of 100,000, 150,000, 200,000, or 300,000 KRW across all outdoor brands.

National Geographic, K2, and Nepa offer socks as gifts for purchases over 100,000 KRW. Especially, Kolon Sports provides tumblers, Boston bags, and hooded T-shirts depending on the purchase amount, while Patagonia offers upcycled products. Additionally, Arc'teryx, which is gaining popularity with the growing interest in the Gopcore look, gives scarves for purchases over 300,000 KRW.

Each outdoor store also features distinctive interior designs that stand out.

Black Yak created a lively store atmosphere with a model of a stone monument engraved with "Gwangju Shinsegae." Through this renewal opening event, Black Yak offers scarves for purchases over 150,000 KRW. Furthermore, outdoor special exhibitions can also be found online.

Gwangju Shinsegae plans to hold a live broadcast of an outdoor joint exhibition featuring Black Yak and K2 on the 18th via the Shinsegae app, and a special renewal opening exhibition with Black Yak, K2, Nepa, and Eider on the 26th.
