Gwangju Gwangsan Fire Station, Reward System for Reporting Illegal Acts Such as Emergency Exit Closure
Gwangsan Fire Station in Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 12th that it operates a year-round reward system for reporting illegal activities such as emergency exit closures.
The reward system was established to enhance the safety management awareness of related parties by encouraging citizens' voluntary participation in the maintenance of evacuation and fire prevention facilities in fire-vulnerable establishments.
Reportable targets include multi-use facilities, cultural and assembly facilities, sales facilities, transportation facilities, lodging facilities, entertainment facilities, and complex buildings.
Major violations include ▲closure, blockage, or locking of fire-fighting facilities ▲placing objects in corridors, stairs, or evacuation routes ▲closure or damage of evacuation and fire prevention facilities.
